Long silhouette!

For several seasons long skirts and dresses were turning back “in fashion” over and over again, but this spring-summer season definitely confirms the trendy dominance of monumental silhouettes. Edge of a dress or a skirt is reaching all the way to the floor, covering the highest heels, and sexy slits, cuts and voluminous layers of long fluttering fabric in a special way dynamize body movements.

The ideal shoe to wear with a high-low maxi depends a person’s height and where the skirt or dress falls. Chunky heels or wedges would look great. Flats and sandals work if the skirt’s longer length in the back falls a few inches above ankles.

There are plenty of other ways to spice up the standard long skirt. We love when a maxi skirt has a slit on the side or even on both sides. A slit makes a longer skirt less constricting.

A printed maxi is an easy way to get effortless style. Paired with a loose blouse and some heels, the look is very resort-chic.

But don’t forget that also simple tucked-in tee would look chic with maxi skirt. This is probably our favorite way to wear the look as it looks effortlessly stylish.
